 HUNTING DAYS

Hunting with Birds of Prey is an ancient and
noble field-sport, where you witness hawks
and other birds of prey trying to catch fast
and clever prey, something they have been
doing almost since time began.
This is not a sport where you fill your freezer,
because most of the prey (quarry), is strong
and fast enough to elude the hunter. But what
you will without doubt find exciting is the drama
of a natural event unfolds before your eyes.
We use either Harris Hawks, or Red-Tailed
Hawks to hunt for rabbits and pheasants, both
are suitable and difficult prey. Often we employ
ferrets and/or dogs to aid the hawks in the hunt,
and to see them working together is wonderful.
The season for this activity is from: October to
the end of February.
